Don't you just hate those movies and TV shows where 15 minutes into the action they're still continually flashing credits such as "Executive Producer, Joe Schmoe"? Oh yeah, there were a bunch of adults hanging about, too. GPA and GMA, Uncle
John and Aunt Ann, two Uncle Bobs, an Aunt Jinny and someone named Muffie. You
know, THAT crowd.
VSM98: This was the second trip to Cape Hatteras with the MacLeods and GPA
and GMA- The Shaws from Huntington W.Va. came this time with Joce and Brian (Ann
was pregnant so Sarah wasn’t quite with us)
........According to the order of pictures, this was the year we went to the
Elizabethan gardens across the bridge. It was the time before that we Morbecks
had seen the outdoor historic production, so MacLeods and probably Shaws went
this year and we kid-sat.(GPA and GMA probably only went once too). I’d like you
to include pictures of GPA and GMA in your account

VSM98- We had kites both summers - Robbo had Wilbur White Fang and
Karen Orville
Black fang. We probably went to the memorial the first year. I’ll look for a
book or
pamphlets.
......... We had the upstairs and maybe John and Ann were up there too. I think
we had
different bedrooms from our first stay - I know Brian was upstairs and Joce must
have
been down with the MacLeods - GMA and GPA had the “maid’s room” - farthest back
under the big top deck - it did have its own bath. We ate dinner up on the top
deck - I think upstairs and downstairs we ate breakfast and lunch en famile’.
